Hello Community, after the discussion in [this thread](https://forum.operaton.org/t/website-marketing/74), @paul has brought the website mock into an discussable state. Updates will follow. If you like to comment on the design you can either add a comment inside the Figma Mock with the Figma comment function or share your thoughts in this thread. If you like to view/edit the mocks themselves, @paul can invite you to the Figma file, if you send him your email address (via PN). Our goals, as stated in the previous thread on the forum, are: - Serious representation of Operaton: professional, yet simple - Consistent branding - Proper explanation of the product: features & roadmap - Proper explanation of the legal owning entity & community aspect * * * **Technical Stuff** We propose to use a static site builder like jekyll or hugo. - We can manage it as GitHub repository - We have no hidden CMS backend - Static files are very secure to deploy - We still can have a blog - We won’t need a plugin eco-system like in WordPress and can add external services, if we want, for example, add a newsletter @Paul and I would be able to translate the design into the proposed static site builder. ---

The new website already looks much better than the old one. I would propose to replace the old website asap with a MVP of the new website. This would mean to just build the static website first and gradually improve it with a Blog/CMS etc. ---
