We are working on Camunda 7 (7.24), and I am evaluating the possibility of Operaton.
Our current environment is Camunda 7 running on a standalone Tomcat server (Tomcat 11). Docker is not allowed in our development environment.
Environment: Java 25, Linux & Windows

I am looking for a distribution of operaton in a standalone Tomcat server or war packages and a documentation how to manage this. We have implemented several war-applications deployed in our Camunda Tomcat server to extend the base functionality. I want to check now if this is still possible with operaton.
Is a standalone Tomcat server distribution available, and can you point me to the download and documentation pages?
Regards
Edmund

Hi @egeesken, welcome to the forum!

On our GitHub Release Page you can find all published artifacts for every release:

> **[Releases · operaton/operaton](https://github.com/operaton/operaton/releases)**
>
> BPMN-Process automation for everyone . Contribute to operaton/operaton development by creating an account on GitHub.

The Tomcat Distribution for our latest release would be here:

[https://github.com/operaton/operaton/releases/download/v2.2.0/operaton-bpm-tomcat-2.2.0.zip](https://github.com/operaton/operaton/releases/download/v2.2.0/operaton-bpm-tomcat-2.2.0.zip)

If you are on Camunda 7.24, I’d suggest reading the release notes since then. Camunda 7.24 can quite easily migrated to Operaton 1.0. While this is not maintained anymore, it would be a good intermediate step, before then upgrading your Codebase to a current Operaton version

Yes, we are actively distributing a Tomcat version. I am wondering why it is hard to find?

The latest release just has been created, see [Release v2.2.0 · operaton/operaton · GitHub](https://github.com/operaton/operaton/releases/tag/v2.2.0)

Our search function on the [docs.operaton.org](http://docs.operaton.org) should have revealed [Pre-Packaged Distribution | Operaton Documentation](https://docs.operaton.org/docs/documentation/installation/full/tomcat/pre-packaged)

Oh sorry for the double posting. For unknown reason I have overseen @javahippie 's answer.
