We are approaching the release of 1.0.0-beta-5 finally. As for our concern all must-haves have been resolved to get a new release out. Dependencies are on the latest state.
Please test the distributions and downloadables and report any issues soon.
I would plan to release when no blockers are reported. A realisitic date would be Aug 29th.
We have resolved the remaining issues that should make it into the Beta-5 release. Worth to mention is that now database upgrades are tested from 7.22 to 7.23 for all supported databases except DB2.
The distributions are on the latest versions of Spring Boot (3.5.5), Tomcat (11.0.10) and Wildfly (36.0.1).
In the recent days we have updated a lot of dependencies and luckily faced no big issue with that.
Please help testing. If we do not receive any issue blocking the release then expect the release 1.0.0-beta-5 to be available this Friday, Aug 29th.
It has been again a long way to this release (beta-4 was in May), but again a huge step forward. And still a long way to go for the final release.
