Hi,
I have added ‘Operaton’ as a topic for tomorrow’s Cyberland Open Source Camp (CyberLand Open Source Camp | CyberLand). This is a monthly meetup for German speakers to connect open source projects with people who would like to work on open source. The English translation of the concept is:
We invite you to the Code Camp event. At this event, we will come together to contribute to open-source projects. You can write a patch, expand documentation, write a tutorial or do something similar.
The goal is to generate a few pull requests for these projects by the end of the event. You can either bring your own open source projects or participate in other projects. Some maintainers of well-known open-source projects will be in attendance.
This and other code camps are a great way to show people what Operaton is and how they can contribute. However, it is important that we have a backlog of approachable, small-scale issues that can be solved at such meetups. The coding time is around 90 minutes and the first build (and test) of the entire Mono Repo currently takes up more than 10% of this time. I will check the issues in all of our repositories and mark or create some of them. It would be great if everyone could keep an eye out for such topics.
