Excuse me, update on founding an association

First of all i will say, sorry!

Hello,

I posted an update on LinkedIn last week about our progress and the future idea of forming an association. I was then informed that this was not so well received here in the forum.

I would like to apologise for that. We are at the beginning of a long journey and mistakes can happen.

In future, we will first write an update here and then do the marketing on LinkedIn.
You can send us or me a private message here or on LinkedIn or on GitHub and tell us directly if what we are doing was not good. Because that’s the only way we can learn from it. Thank you.

Now to the actual update regarding the association

We are currently setting up the statutes and would like to make them available for inspection and discussion to people who are interested in joining the association.
So, if you are interested, please reply here or send me a PM.

I look forward to hearing from you.

@amzill What kind of membership you have in mind?

With @Noordsestern we are preparing a workshop on use of BPMN for orchestrating complex test setups at RoboCon 2025 Helsinki, a test automation conference in the next February. It is very likely that it will be based on Operaton. We except participation from companies, which are already used support their critical open source software by joining their association.

I’m definitely interested! It would also be great to know if companies will have the option to join the association as members.
