How to switch backend of web-apps?

Hello @paul ,

my nodejs skills are rather limited. I can see that in .env.development two VITE_BACKEND are defined. I also find the documentation about environment variables documenting how to define the list of backends.

This question has a high chance proving me not seeing the obvious: how can i tell web-apps which backend to use?

When you open the web apps in your browser you have a select field in the top right corner.

Maybe it is not setting a default with a fresh setup. A blind side I haven’t tested.
