Just did a search for “camunda 7 alternative” and “camunda 7 migration” on Google. This did not show Operaton.
Could someone help improve the operaton.org web page that we have a chance to get listed there? IMO this is needed soon.

We could start by modifing operaton/README.md at main · operaton/operaton · GitHub and mention that Operaton is an alternative for Camunda und is developed with migration path in mind.
I think it is legal to advertise (do a search for Camynda. Is this something the community would like - or is it too commercial?
It is too commercial, the project itself does not create ads. We should do what can be done on the website and optimize there. Then we could use partners like you and us to also link and advertise.
Do you have a marketing / press kit that can be integrated into own websites to link to operaton? Logos and perhaps quotes from the initiators would be very helpful.

Yes, that’s right. I will come up with some recommendations and send them at the beginning of the next week.
In general, that’s quite a competitive market since there are big companies in the search engine results like Gartner, G2 etc. So, it’s better not to expect top 10 positions with a new website tomorrow, but still we’d better optimize it and create new relevant pages. Probably we can get some visits for less competitive queries as a start. As the product evolves and get more mentions and links from other websites, it will get better in search results as well.

Currently the logos are all we have, but I can create more assets if the need arises.
I’m currently using Startpage as a search engine and Operaton.org is the top result.
Maybe we can use other search engines than our personal ones to do some “I actually did mean ‘operaton’ not ‘operation’” manual feedback. Dunno how much that helps tbh.
